One of the most talented artists to emerge from the UK since Richard Ashcroft
James Morrison has to be one of the UK’s most promising artists in a long time. His incredible blend of blues, soul and alternative rock is mesmerizing. At just 21, he has an extremely promising career ahead of him too. Absorbing influence from greats such as Cat Stevens, Otis Reading and Van Morrison, his debut album Undiscovered shows off the many years of work he has spent on this album.
Undiscovered landed on my doorstep this morning while I was at work of all things! 
I rushed home today, ripped open the packaging and flung the cd into my Xbox 360. Ah, sheer bliss it was I tell ya! You can catch two tracks from the album right now on Uk radio - "You give me something", and "Undiscovered". This is what British music is about, none of that manufactured garbage. I’m so surpraised you didn’t get in trouble for doing that! I prefer james blunt, fitter bod and more memorable songs that you can sing along to

For those pondering what I had done, I’d taken my James Morrison cd to work with me and hooked it upto the audio pc that plays random tunes over the speaker systems in various departments. Except as I was leaving, my arm brushed up against a ‘gating’ switch, which controls the music tempo 
“You give me something” ended up playing at high speed in a squeeky high pitched tune which resulted in most departments cracking up in laughter - and me getting chased by our security guard! I rock!
They both suck
The single ‘you give me something’ has just began playing over here on our Canadian radio station and I think it’s great. One of the best tracks I have heard in a long while now. However I cannot yet find his album over here.
I reckon he’ll be a one hit wonder who will vanish in no time at all. Looking at the reviews his new album will hit no.1 easily enough, but after that I doubt we will see much of him.
