They’ll love me!
I’ve been less then vocal lately on this blog, mainly because of the two brilliant Xbox 360 games in my last post below but also because I’ve been preparing to fly off to Australia on a work business trip to meet some engineers in 24hrs. I’ve been rather nervous about the whole thing really. I’m not a frequent flyer, hell the last time I was on a plane was years ago. Having seen Snakes On A Plane over the weekend hasn’t helped matters either… Mark you muppet, bad choice of film!
I’ll be staying in Queensland, Brisbane for a couple of days, so I doubt I’ll get to do hardly any sightseeing as I’ll be rather busy. I’ve always wanted to visit Oz but I wish that circumstances were a bit different on this occasion. I’ve got some Uk friends at Bond Uni on the southeastern end of Queensland so I’ll staying a night there too. Knowing my luck I’ll end up lost in the Northern flippin territory with the evil crocs! I can’t believe I’m being sent all the way over there just to discuss some work related matters with some acoustic engineers though, it just doesn’t feel right. Anyway talk about being alucky one….although if I meet Samuel L. Jackson on that plane I’m jumping right the **** off.

lol I bet he’s getting into an argument with someone on the plane already. When I went with him to the airport yesterday, they wouldn’t let him through baggage control with his new mp3 player so I now have it here with me
He was fuming and wanted to thump two security guards lol

Woo! I am cream crackered over here, sooo tired. It’s bloomin hot up here in Brizzie, around 30c or so but the heat feels no where near as hot as it would be over in the Uk. Prolly cos of the Oz sea breeze.
It’s really lovely though, just as I expected it would be too, and so many Brits! “Are you British?” is normally the response I get when I goto a shop for some food. I’ve been more or less attending meetings constantly, I’ve got another work colleague with me too to keep me out of trouble and he’s done nothing but whinge all the way here. He reminds me of PR…
I’m leaving in 4hrs now so it’s 01:15 over here in me hotel atm. I’ve had sod all time to do shopping, but I did goto the Australian Zoo yesterday to pay my respects to Steve Irwin who passed on recently as everyone knows. The memorial they have there is huge. I was lucky because they have a Courtesy Coach going towards there almost daily from Roma Street Station in Brizzie. I tried to goto the QUeensland Art gallery but I’m told it’s closed until Xmas for refurbishment so I guess some other time.
Oh, Koala’s are NOT NICE! I thought bloody badgers were cute until I found out they have temper tantrums, but Koala’s take the Wii. Cut long story short, they’re unfriendly little twerps. Hmmm, what else? Oh yeah, spiders are frikken huge! Found one in my bathroom on my first night and had to call a nearby hotel cleaner to get rid of the bugger cos it was so fast, not like lazy, slow Uk spideys which are easy to catch/kill/bake/torture.
What else, oh I found an inflatable sheep for me mate Pakman but never purchased it cos I was short on cash at the time. Her name was Dolly lol

I know she was a lovely girl but she probably deserved a lethal injection for breaking your gadget mate

I’m back from my long hols and I had no idea you had gone over there. Lovely place isn’t it? Celina is planning to move over there in 2yrs with her bf too from what she tells me. I am not so sure just yet!
Woah, hey lise! I didn’t get to do much over there due to being stuck in various meetings as well as being shown around various company departments. All that was so dull and tiring it left me exhausted. Give your sis a good wiggage from me
