Another WordPress upgrade
I’ll be upgrading this blog over the next two weeks to a newer version of the K2 theme that you see in use at present. Also being upgraded will be Wordpress itself to v2.04. This could result in the blog being a right utter mess over the next few weeks so bear with me here. To be honest, I’ve been wanting to move away from it so I could switch to something less complicated, but since I’ve more or less built this blog around the theme it’ll be hard recoding certain sections of it to another one.
I do have a stunning theme which I have been tweaking for the past couple of months during my spare time and I may possibly bring that online for a couple of days although I’m not sure.
Finally, I have had a few emails asking me to put up a gallery. I had already decided to add one to the blog but ran into problems months ago and I never looked at it again. To add to this, I’m so busy with my job that I hardly take photo’s as frequently as I once used to do anyway. Landscape photography was something I loved doing but I never showed off any of my work!
and you think that makes up for your constant lack of updates on here mate? for several days I’ve been checking this only to find that there’s nothing new on here to read! it’s like nobody cares to update the blog! whats the point of me visiting if your just going to ignore me and never put anything new on here? I check over and over and over and over and over and nothing new for days on end!! lazy goit! stop having a pretend social life and update your god damn blog more often damn it!

Flamin WoW tart! Go play your fantasy game with big oversized weapons and tedious gameplay! Poor Julie, she’ll be so bored while her man sits in front of the pc doing the same repetitive actions over and over and over and over again :p

Right;
* Upgraded to Wordpress 2.0.4 - went flawlessly
* Added a calendar with events to the sidebar. This is flaky as it’s displaying events offscreen right now so this needs to be looked at.
* Added an online status indicator which will probably be removed, reason being it seems to have a mind of it’s own as to weather I’m online or not.
* Lotsa toys for yours truly in the background for security/posting/spying on people, especially scottish peeps.
My decision to upgrade to the newer version of K2 was held off. I tried it but then realised that the new version in places uses a different code structure to what I’m used to. So this upgrade will take longer then I thought.
Ajax powered calendar is sorted now. Had a right nightmare getting the margins perfect to fit into my sidebar. Hopefully the thing will work peacefully now in comparison to my previous calendar which I was having no luck trying to fix.
