I’ve just added two reviews to the reviews section. Call of Duty 2 for the Xbox 360, and the Western Digital 320GB My Book External Hard Drive, which I recently purchased to backup all my data onto.
I’ve been feeling quite poor recently, after the New Years celebrations. I’ve felt unfit, and unwell as a result too, so I really need to get back into shape, not that I went on a mad drinking/eating spree during the festivities, but I did stop going to the gym for a solid 3 weeks and I can now feel the effects of that decision. This unwell feeling isn’t helped by the fact that my Laptop has died, while I awaited parts for my new PC (below). I was meant to use the lappy to write reviews while my main PC was out of action, but that plan backfired. So after spending well over £1100 on components for a new PC, I’ve not got to get the lappy repaired too. Great ![]()
Nice COD 2 review, liked that. When your summing up you say “Hardened/Veteran difficulties seem to respawn infinite enemy soldiers in places”. This is quite true pretty much throughout the entire game. You need to keep moving moves forwards to stop this
Apart from Hill 400 (part 3) where i spent a good 6 hours constantly dying) i would say the most infuriating part has to be one of the later missions where you start in an alleyway and after a few seconds get ambushed from above. I spent a long time trying to find the perfect cubby hole to take everyone out
If you think COD 2 vet is hard, try COD 3 - arghhhhh!
Heya matey
Ta for the comments, I kinda rushed that CoD2 review tbh and I’m not too pleased with it, but cba to edit it further lol
I’ve got strong memories of CoD2 Vet vs CoD3’s vet. I spent days on that last leg of the Stalingrad mission where you have to plant explosives on a tank circling a square. That was almost impossible!
That bit you describe was the British ambush mission. Took me about 2 days to get past that bit
I do agree, that part was awful.
I’m on the last part of CoD3 atm - The forest level on Vet mode. By comparison I stormed through CoD3 but the very last portion is impossible due to the way they’ve implemented an extremely lengthy checkpoint section.
Basically you need to fight about 20 odd enemy soldiers, and then proceed to clear out a forest where they’re hiding in, and then you proceed to the mortar where you’re required to take out a roadblock in which about a couple of hundred enemy troops are emerging from.
If you die, you start all over again having to fight the 20 odd soldiers. That portion took me bloomin well 15mins to get past, so I’ve no idea how I’ll finish that last bit and get my points…
Hill 400 was easy, it was the Silo that made me want to cry!
Yup, thats exactly where i am COD 3 vet mode. Really stuck atm there. Got so annoyed i had to leave it and play a game that was easy. Might try again this weekend
As for cod 2, part 3 of hiull 400 was the only misison that was hard imo. The silowas fun more than anything else. May pick it up again as i can play it in HD TV now, as opposed to a 14 inch portable tv, as before
I’m still not feeling too well after NYE. I think lack of excercise when I was staying with you guys is to blame! I too feel down and unfit right now also
