More Site Updates
Kainzy.org is back from a few days of downtime after moving to Vidahost.com. I’ve upgraded Wordpress to the latest release (v2.1 codenamed Ella), and at the same time I’m fine tuning the latest version of the lovely K2 theme. Everything has gone extremely smoothly and I’ve only got just one mis-behaving plugin at the moment giving me some grief.

That navigation bar thingie at the top of the blog has gone now?

I forgot to do a few things when I moved host, namely changing my domain nameservers so the rest of the web could actually see the site. Sorted now anyway.
That navbar or the rolling archive bar is still there. Just click on the ‘older’ link, where the old bar was found and you’ll see it re-appear with a second new bar to on-the-fly truncate post bodies.
I just need to get the Collapsible More Link working, as it’s the only plugin that I’ve noticed so far not working after the upgrade.
Ah good stuff. I made the move a few days ago and it all went smoothly for me. I haven’t moved to Ella yet though it seems to be working well on your site.
Ella seems to be causing a right load of hassle all over the place right now. There are quite a few plugin incompatibilities and I’ve discovered a second plugin I have which is totally broke. Ultimate Tag Warrior loses a post’s tags everytime someone comments to a post, so this very post will lose it’s tags again
