I need to get rid of this post from the front page lol. Nah mate, not interested in it as it's too closed off and reliant on bloody iTunes bloat still.

Ya seen my email about Lord of Ultima yet?!

Indeed there are a lot of applications for the iPad, and it remains to be seen how it will be used upon release. I think its a great device but no where near as good as it can be.

I can see it being a great device for photographers wanting to carry around their portfolio of photos with them to potential customers. Sadly the way Mobile OSX stores sync'd photos is poor - it stores all your photos as one giant thumbnail db file - so you can't delete sync'd images on the fly, nor make adjustments to them, not without editing the source photo and re-syncing it to the iPad. I could be wrong as the pad runs tweaked photo viewing apps compared to the Touch/Phone, for which that statement is true.

Having watched the Keynote video on iTunes, the audience's reception to various features were very muted. Essentially it was like watching the iPhone 3G keynote, with Steve running through the same OS features that we already know about from the Touch/Phone.

See?! You set me off now!

You know I'm no Mac fan mate but I can see a lot of applications for these, I bet by the end of the year a school is giving them out to kids either here or in the US. It's almost guaranteed some school will buy them for staff and I'll put money on Doctors and nurses wanting a shot too.

I forgot to add that I was really looking forward to, and expecting a sneak peek at iPhone OS 4.0. It never happened though :(
